Jazmin Jones is a San Francisco Bay Area raised, Brooklyn based visual storyteller. Her photography, films, and installation pieces are united by their attention to color and interest in the human condition. Jazmin's work has been described as "subversive" 👀 and often echoes her personal experiences as a queer, Black femme.
She's been granted the Human and Civil Rights Award from the National Association of Education, the Fair Use Award from the Media That Matters Film Festival, and a Civic Arts and Humanities Fellowship from The New School in collaboration with the Flaherty Film Seminar.
Currently, Jazmin is a 2017 TRUST Resident at Eyebeam with her collective BUFU: By Us For Us
